Art & Textiles

Included in our collection of African Kente and mudcloth are the highly varied and hand stitched rectangular panels of the Kuba tribes. Skirts comprised of multiple panels and of lengths up to 30 feet long are worn at court functions and during ritual ceremonies.

African art has been lauded for its expressiveness and undisputed influence on modern art. Eye on Design's collection is museum quality and represents most countries and tribes from West Africa. Masks, stools, statuary, beds, tables and grainary doors are some of the items that show the breadth and elegance of the collection.
